Today, when I was dressing up I thought more about working on my parents farm than fashion but when I was taking photo of my face to see how will I look with Tao Okamoto's haircut I saw that I remind myself of someone that can be in Edward's Hopper painting. Next I thought about Andrzej Wajda's movie "Tatarak" with brilliant polish actress Krystyna Janda. In this movie you can see a lot of influence from Hopper's art.

Here I am wearing H&M jeans shorts and a light green shirt which used to be my sister's. I guess you could call it vintage or maybe young-vintage. It has 10-15 years. It's not vintage yet (I read that piece must be 25 y.o. to call it vintage) but still - OLD.

 

The Edward's Hopper esthetic goes perfectly with the topic and feeling of this movie. The never-ending, final and deep loneliness. Maybe that's why I like it so much.  Both: the movie and Hopper's art.

Yay! My earrings are here! I bought them from http://www.kuzniasrebra.pl/. I couldn't decide which piece I should pick. There are so many of it. I thought it will be a bit bigger but I'm happy with it though.

Yay! I'm in love with my DIY jean jacket! I feel so comfortable in it and it goes with almost everything in my closet (which is not so big... -.-). Here: DIY jean jacket, second-hand shirt, VERY old black jeans (I cut them shorter, I was, and still am, inspired by lovely Mrs Hepburn) and scarf which my mom gave me. I don't wear any shoes. I just got home and I took them off. It was a simple black sneakers though.

a little bit of fashion week

Last Sunday we went to see Maldoror fashion show. It was a last day of polish fashion week and I must say that it was an overwhelming experience. I thought that the fashion show is inside the bulding but apperantly it started outside as well. It was funny to see all this 'fashion people' in their funny and sometimes crazy and creppy outfits. Their gave the word 'overdressed' (or should I say 'over-costumed') a new meaning.

 I didn't take photos of 'fashion people' but as you can see there were a lot of bloggers.

ANYWAY. The show was interesting but not so inspiring as I would like it to be. The words which I would describe it are: dark, vampire, weird, NOT-ready-to-wear. I took some pics
